This Girl Can is a campaign that has allowed girls and women to get more involved in sport and also share their sporting or fitness stories. This week the campaign looked back on it's last 12 months at how far it has come. Through this reflection, a number of stories from women around the country have emerged and we have been facinated to learn about the impact that sport has had on so many girls. 

Below is the story of Kate. Kate is deaf and has found sport to be a domain where she can play and compete whilst being herself.
